Wyvern Consulting has released The Wyvern Standard version 5.0 to establish a global dimension to its safety audit system. Changes include a number of operating updates covering helicopter overwater operations, updated guidelines for vendor audit and contract crew recordkeeping, and changes to instructions on aircraft refueling. Wyvern, a subsidiary of online charter portal Avinode, has also updated maintenance training standards to include a broader spectrum of professional development. JetOptions charters aircraft whose safety program has been audited by Wyvern.
