Toluca International Airport or officially the Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport (IATA: TLC, ICAO: MMTO) is an international airport in Toluca, Mexico. Part of the Mexico City Metropolitan Airport Group, it handles the private and general aviation traffic for Mexico City.
On the commercial side, there are flights for Toluca and the southwest districts of Mexico City made by Interjet. At present, less than a million commercial passengers are traveling through the airport each year.
The airport is named after President Adolfo López Mateos and is the primary alternate airport for Mexico City International as it is only 30 minutes from the Santa Fe financial district. With the longest runway in all of Mexico at 13,780 feet, Toluca is the primary destination for private jets. At present, there are eight fixed base operators (FBOs) with additional fueling and maintenance support available at the airport.
