About South Caicos

A unique aspect of the area is the fact that the sea is very shallow. In fact, the reef wall begins at only 50 feet, but drops dramatically to 7,000 feet. This provides some of the best diving in the entire Turks and Caicos Islands. South Caicos is also a popular destination for whale watching. Visitors can see the majestic animals during the months of January through April. If you’re into fishing, you’ll appreciate the numerous boats and charters for deep sea fishing.
