It’s located on the north side of Miami near Bal Harbour, and it’s 10 minutes from the Hard Rock Stadium, the home of the 2020 Super Bowl. The FAA National Plan of Integrated Airports includes Opa Locka among the designated reliever airports for Miami International.
Formerly the Opa-locka Airport and Opa-locka Executive Airport, this designated reliever airport has a long runway of 8,002 feet for large jets.
