Kapalua is a resort district in Maui County, Hawaiʻi. The city is inland from Honolua Bay and Kapalua Bay. The development area by the Maui Land & Pineapple Company extends inland from Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay. The community’s main commercial area is Kapalua Harbor, which has several restaurants and shopping areas.

The Kapalua – West Maui Airport has a runway of just 3,000 feet and is used primarily by turboprops or commuter planes.

There are many other things to do in West Maui, and the region has many outdoor activities, making it an ideal location for surfing. Ironwoods Beach is relatively uncrowded, but it is a popular surfing spot for advanced surfers. The waves can be rough, so it is not a good place for beginners. The area’s natural beauty makes it a perfect location for a morning walk or a relaxing session on the beach.
