JFK International Airport, located in Queens, is one of the busiest airports in the U.S. and the main gateway to New York City. JFK is located in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York, about 16 miles southeast of Midtown Manhattan.  By car, Midtown Manhattan is about 45 minutes away, depending on traffic conditions. Helicopter transport is available at different locations throughout the mid-city and financial districts.
