Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport

Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport (ICAO: KUMP, UMP) is a public airport in Hamilton County, Indiana. It is 8 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis and is a designated reliever airport for Indianapolis International Airport. Owned by the Indianapolis Airport Authority, the airport covers 445 acres, and has one asphalt runway, 15/3;  that is 4,004 x 100 ft.  There is one FBO on-site.

Most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, but Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport is UMP to the FAA and has no IATA code.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport is located eight miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis in Fishers, Indiana. It is a public airport owned by the Indianapolis Airport Authority and serves as a relief airport for Indianapolis International Airport.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport Authority owns 9,000 acres of land. About 2,000 acres of that land is designated as a protected habitat. The airport has a community apiary designed to help preserve the honey bee population.
