Indianapolis International Airport (IATA: IND, ICAO: KIND, FAA LID: IND) is a public airport located seven miles (11 km) southwest of the central business district of Indianapolis, a city in Marion County, Indiana, United States. It is owned and operated by the Indianapolis Airport Authority. The airport is the largest in Indiana, occupying approximately 7,700 acres of land in Wayne and Decatur Townships of Marion County, all within the city of Indianapolis.
Additional municipal and general aviation facilities are the; Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport (ICAO: KUMP, FAA LID: UMP), Indianapolis Regional Airport(ICAO: KMQJ, FAA LID: MQJ), and the Indianapolis Executive Airport (ICAO: KTYQ, FAA LID: TYQ).
