Henderson Executive Airport is the largest general aviation facility in Las Vegas. It’s located on the south side of town and 12 miles from the Las Vegas Strip and McCarran International Airport, downtown Las Vegas is 30 minutes away by car. Vegas’s Executive Airport offers full services for private jets and general aviation traffic. The airport provides comprehensive FBO services and has no commercial traffic on the airfield.
This designated reliever airport has a long runway of 6,501 feet for large jets. There is one large FBO terminal to welcome private jets and passengers, with a full complement of hanger and maintenance services available. HSH is McCarran’s designated FAA reliever airport, and LAS is owned and operated by Clark County. KHND underwent a 30 million dollar expansion to meet the needs of corporate and business jets in 2006. While most airports use the same identifier code for the FAA and IATA, Henderson Executive uses HSH as the IATA identifier and HND for the FAA.
