Colorado Air & Space Port is east of Denver and Aurora in largely unpopulated Adams County. Certified as a spaceport in 2011, the general aviation airport is about 15 miles from Denver International. Two runways are available at the former Front Range Airport for private planes. An FAA control tower is on-site with hours from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. CFO has no scheduled commercial flights and is open for private and general aviation traffic.
CFO is about 30 miles from downtown Denver and 19 miles from Aurora. The FBO and private jet facilities are located in the airpark, and services include rental cars and transport to DEN. Aircraft accommodations include refueling, heated hangars, and plane deicing. The main airport and the FBO are open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
