About Easterwood Airport

Sitting on 700 acres of land, Easterwood Airport is owned and operated by Texas A&M and is primarily used by travelers looking to visit the college. Named after Lieutenant Jesse Easterwood, a former Texas A&M student and World War I pilot, CLL has been operational for over 80 years. When it first opened in 1940, Easterwood was only a small landing strip and hangar, mainly used for flight training. Today, however, after many renovations and additions, Easterwood is the primary gateway for travelers flying into College Station.

Easterwood Airport is experienced at servicing and housing private jets, as many of the air travel operations at the airport are private or military. Easterwood is also home to Astin Aviation, an FBO that specializes in sports charter. Astin Aviation also offers ground handling, tiedown, hangar, and quick turn services for private jets.
