The Eagle County Regional Airport is one of Colorado’s busiest airports, particularly during peak winter days. It is located between the cities of Eagle and Gypsum, about 36 miles from the popular Vail ski resorts. Eagle County Regional Airport is 4 miles west of Eagle, Colorado. The Vail-Eagle airport or the Eagle-Vail Airport serves Eagle County, nearby Vail, and the Beaver Creek ski resorts. There is a single long runway of 9,000 feet in length.
