Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world, serving over 300 airlines and hundreds of destinations worldwide. The second-largest international airport in Europe offers fueling, ramps, and tightly controlled services for private planes with ground handling operators. This airport is located in the Roissy-en-France suburb, named after former state leader Charles de Gaulle. The fourth floor is reserved for departing passengers and features duty-free stores and border control posts. The airport is connected to the city by bus and RER B. High-speed train lines also serve both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. You can also take a taxi from the airport to the city center. However, cabs are costly and crowded. It is better to plan to avoid crowds.
The airport has several cars hire companies. Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt all have locations at the airport. The art collection at the airport is impressive.
