The twin resort area, Los Cabos, is known for its nightlife and beaches. The vibrant city of San José del Cabo is a stunning example of colonial architecture. There are many attractions to visit in this region, including the Los Cabos Art Museum.  If you’re an animal lover, don’t miss seeing grey whales living off La Paz’s coast from January to March. If you’re a whale-watching fan, you can catch a glimpse of these gentle giants in the Gulf of California. During the summer, the species start their migration north for their annual swim back to the north.  If you’re looking for a more tranquil atmosphere, try the beaches of Baja California Sur and the lush mountains.

Baja California or Baja California Sur is officially a Free and Sovereign State of Baja California. It is both the northernmost and westernmost state of Mexico, but before becoming a state in 1953, it was known as the North Territory of Baja California.
