About Aurora Municipal (ARR, AUZ, KARR)

Opened in 1966, the airport is 50 miles west of Chicago O’Hare Airport and just outside Class B airspace. A private and general aviation airport is a designated reliever for O’Hare and Midway, with its three long runways and proximity to Chicago’s metro area. KARR provides comprehensive FBO services at its two bases. The AUZ airfield covers more than 1,100 acres and has three runways that see 175 aircraft movements daily. AUZ  has an FAA control tower,  GPS Instrument Landing System, passenger services, and car rentals on-site.
