Aurora Municipal Airport is located in Sugar Grove, Illinois about eight miles west of the City of Aurora. Opened in 1966, the airport is 50 miles west of Chicago O’Hare Airport and just outside of Class B airspace. A private and general aviation airport its a designated reliever for O’Hare and Midway, with its three long runways and proximity to Chicago’s metro area.
