Phenom 300: One Hot Airplane

It’s nice to be in demand, as Embraer can attest from the popularity of its Phenom 300 business jet.NetJets Inc., which has an agreement with Embraer Executive Jets for 50 Phenom 300 plus 75 options, reports that fractional shares in the light jet are selling so well that it asked the manufacturer to accelerate the delivery schedule. That will add four additional jets to the NetJets inventory this year.Embraer has delivered 25 Phenom 300 jets to the fractional-ownership provider. By the end of 2014, NetJets expects to have 35 Signature Series Phenom 300s in its fleet.

The Phenom is assembled at Embraer’s Melbourne, FL., production facility, where aircraft destined primarily for North American customers are made.One Phenom 300 owner/operator last year was asked to lead racers onto the course of the 2013 Reno Air Races. It was a testament to the aircraft’s power and stability.
