An empty leg occurs when an aircraft operator needs to move without any passengers. This could involve crew positioning from their base to a location where passengers will be picked up for a booked trip. It’s worth noting that these flights are available because someone else has already chartered a flight. Therefore, you will likely be flying under the schedule of the original customer’s flight. This means that your preferred departure times may not be available, and you will need to be flexible with the departure or arrival airport. Being flexible with dates, times, origin, and destination will always provide you with more charter options.
