Bombardier Aerospace announced last week that final assembly of the Global 7000 and 8000 will take place at its manufacturing site in Toronto, Ontario–the same place where it assembles the Global 5000 and 6000 (née Global Express). Meanwhile, Bombardier is still evaluating options for the production support work package, which includes functions such as technical publications and procurement in support of the manufacturing program. The Global 7000 and 8000 are slated to enter service in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
