The Hawker 800XP is a midsize business jet. By offering long-range flexibility, a spacious cabin, and low operating costs, the Hawker 800XP has become a popular midsize jet and a charter favorite. The Hawker 800XP is available in a wide variety of configurations.

Initially manufactured by the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, the original Hawker series of jets was built in 2012. The Hawker Beechcraft company was sold to Textron Aviation the following year. All models, including 800XP, 850XP, and 900XP final models, ceased new production as of 2013. There are no current plans to reintroduce the new manufacturing of the 800 lines of jets. Many Hawker 800’s are still flying across the US today.

800XP Jet

In 2004 the Raytheon Aircraft Company announced an upgraded version of its Hawker 800 midsize jet and named it the Hawker 800XP. This midsize jet seats 8 to 11 passengers depending upon configuration. It has improved avionics, increased baggage capacity, user-friendly 15-inch touch screens, LED interior cabin lighting, and an updated cabin management system.

The Hawker 800XP is an excellent aircraft for any business and is widely used by executive charter operators. Although the cabin of the Hawker is not as large compared to those of Gulfstream G150 and Learjet 60, it does compare favorably to its competitors.

Hawker 800 XP Specifications

The Hawker 800XP has a low profile allowing extended range and flight speeds.

• The typical seating configuration for upgraded Hawker Models, including the 800XP, is eight passengers.
• Six square, oval windows are on each side of the measured height 5’9” interior cabin.
• The cabin length is 21″ 4′ and the interior’s cabin width is 6″.
• The maximum cruising speed of the Hawker 800 is 447 Ktas, and the maximum range is 2,595 nm (nautical miles).

The interior cabin measures 21.4 feet long, 5.9 feet high, and 6 feet wide. The Hawker 800XP also features a folding executive table for added convenience. Its advanced avionics suite includes GPS, a Ground Proximity Warning System, and a TCAS II system with dual autopilot. Two Honeywell TFE731-5BR-1H turbofan engines power the jet.
