The Hawker 400XP is the biggest and fastest light business jet in its class. By offering sophisticated flexibility, a spacious cabin, and low operating costs, the Hawker 400XP has become a small cabin jet charter favorite.
The U.S. Air Force also trusts a version of the rugged, reliable Hawker 400XP for advanced pilot training. The unique “squared oval” cabin delivers more head and shoulder room for up to nine passengers, creating an ideal atmosphere for business.
Initially manufactured by the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation, the original Hawker series of jets was built through 2012. The Hawker Beechcraft company was sold to Textron Aviation the next year. Textron introduced upgraded models of the 400; including the XPR series that were flight certified in 2014.
With a high-speed cruise of 458 knots and unique swept-wing design, the Hawker 400XP is 35 knots faster than the Cessna Citation CJ3. Advanced construction, such as fail-safe design, a swept two-spar wing structure, a bonded double-skin pressure vessel, and an unlimited airframe life, make the Hawker 400XP a very trustworthy aircraft.
Typical seating configuration for upgraded Hawker Models including the XPR, is seven passengers.
Elliott Aviation rolled-out their upgrade packages for the Hawker 400A and 400 XP at the NBAA Convention in 2015. while the Nextant Corporation introduced production of their reimagined Hawker 400, a Nextant 400 XTI at the 2016 NBAA.
