Charter the Boeing Business Jet VIP airliner. The Boeing business jet or BBJ is a member of the 737 family of airplanes and the 737-700 airliner. When it comes to private jets, the Boeing BBJ is the epitome of luxury and its 25-year history proves its success. The BBJ has a 6,141 nm range to fly non-stop from Johannesburg to London, Los Angeles to Paris, and New York to Tokyo. Regarding fuel efficiency, the Boeing BBJ can fly more than six thousand nautical miles non-stop. Its cabins contain three times larger interior space than comparable ultra-long-range executive jets.
The Boeing Business Jet combines the best of commercial aviation with the best of private air travel. Boeing Business Jets are perfect for any corporate or personal travel need. They offer incredible speed and range, as well as customizable cabin space. They are also highly sought-after by corporations, heads of state, and other VIPs worldwide.
The spacious 5,390 cubic foot cabin is customized to meet individual or business requirements for 8 to 149 passengers, but it typically seats 19 passengers in private charter configurations. The cabins are custom installed by completion centers with interior designers, including an executive office, conference rooms, private offices, and even bedrooms. Unique environments can be created, for example, with a living room, dining room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Fresh air is constantly circulated throughout the cabin. There are two temperature control zones for the passengers and crew.
The BBJ is self-sufficient at airports with reduced ground support and limited facilities. The aircraft has built-in airstairs and quickly loaded cargo holds. The glass cockpit incorporates many features of the Boeing 777. The cockpit is fitted with a Rockwell Collins Flight Dynamics HGS-4000 head-up display and six Honeywell flat-panel liquid crystal flight displays. The HGS-4000 has improved low-visibility take-off guidance, runway deceleration cueing, and advanced display features.
The BBJ, despite its size and a maximum takeoff weight of 171,000 pounds, can take off from a sea-level runway in 5,885 feet. At an altitude of 5,000 feet and a temperature of 77°F, the required runway distance increases to 9,645 feet. For comparison’s sake, the average takeoff distance of heavy private jets at sea level is 5,500 feet. The average maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of other private jets is 52,000 pounds, only 30% of the BBJ’s MTOW.
The BBJ 3 is the largest model of the BBJ family, boasting an impressive intercontinental range. The airplane’s dual CFM56-7B27 engines deliver over twenty-four thousand pounds of thrust. Its external dimensions and interior cabin are more significant than its predecessor, but both aircraft maintain the same exceptional performance. The new BBJ3 can rival the range of three or four commercial jets.
