First Production Gulfstream G280 Being Outfitted and Painted

The first production Gulfstream G280 recently arrived at the company’s midsize business jet completions center in Dallas, where it is being outfitted and painted for delivery later this year. “This is a significant transition in the G280 program, as we near the completion of flight test and launch final phase manufacturing,” said Pres Henne, Gulfstream’s senior vice president of programs, engineering and test. Meanwhile, G280 flight testing continues, with three program aircraft accumulating more than 1,500 hours over some 550 flights.
