FATA publishes open letter to Florida Governor

The Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA) published an open letter yesterday to Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who last week announced plans to sell the state’s two business aircraft. In making a case to reverse his decision, FATA wrote, “A good businessman should realize the potential in keeping these assets. You know your time is valuable and so is the time of your trusted staff.” Scott plans to use his personal Beechjet 400A for official travel; reports have said he will not bill the state for its use.
