New York Fashion Week, is a semi-annual series of events (generally lasting 7–9 days) held yearly in February and September. International fashion collections are shown to buyers, the press and the general public. It is one of four fashion week events in the world, collectively known as the “Big 4,” along with those shows in Paris, London, and Milan. The runway shows are presented live from New York City semi-annually in February and again in September to highlight the seasons and upcoming trends.
