The Masters has been played at Augusta National since 1934. It is held in the first week of April each year. The Masters is played every April on Alister MacKenzie’s iconic course design. The winner receives a coveted green jacket and a lifetime invitation to play in the Masters.
The Masters has produced some of the most iconic moments in golf history. In 1986, Jack Nicklaus came back from a six-shot deficit to win. Sir Nick Faldo overturned Greg Norman’s six-shot lead in 1996. Scottie Scheffler won the 2022 tournament at 10-under 278.
