Embraer Executive Jets’ Phenom final assembly facility in Melbourne, Florida, recently received fuselage and wing parts for the first Phenom 100 to be assembled in the U.S. The milestone light jet remains on target to be delivered from the U.S. plant to a customer by year-end. At present, 69 qualified engineers and other aviation technicians are working at the Melbourne facility, and Embraer expects to have 200 employees working there by the end of next year, as production ramps up.
