Dassault Falcon 7X to resume flight operations

Las week, the EASA issued an Airworthiness Directive that allows most of the Dassault Falcon 7X fleet to resume flight operations. The type was grounded nearly four weeks ago after a runaway trim incident. The AD authorizes those Falcon 7Xs equipped with horizontal stabilizer electronic control unit (HSECU) part number 051244-02 (about two thirds of the fleet) to fly again. For those remaining aircraft equipped with HSECU 051244-04, “the prohibition of flights is maintained,” the AD reads.
