Bombardier Global to Receive Satcom Direct Routers

Yesterday, the FAA issued supplemental type certificates (STCs) to Jet Aviation’s St. Louis facility for the installation of Satcom Direct’s router onboard several Bombardier Global models.

Jet Aviation St. Louis Senior Manager Avionics Sales Blake Hogge speaks highly of the Satcom Direct Router (SDR), as the upgraded router delivers better bandwidth capabilities, allowing a higher amount of data transfer for Bombardier Global aircraft. According to a Satcom Direct company statement, “the SDR allows customers to manage all cabin communications systems in combination with Inmarsat Swift 64, SwiftBroadband, Ku-Band, and Ka-Band satellite connections.”
