In a recent report by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), it was revealed that there was a 5.3 percent increase in global air travel demand in September compared to the same month last year. This demand was measured in revenue passenger kilometers (RPKs). While this growth demonstrates a positive trend for passenger demand, it is worth noting that it slightly lagged behind the 6.3 percent year-over-year rise observed in August. Additionally, the report indicated a 5.1 percent rise in capacity and a 0.2 percentage point increase in the load factor, bringing it to 80.3 percent.
