Abace 2012 Sells Out Exhibitor Spaces, Chalets

According to NBAA, exhibitor chalets are sold out for the 2012 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (Abace), which will be held late next month at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. “Due to limited space on the ramp, NBAA offered for the first time a standardized structure and layout for OEM exhibitors at Abace,” said NBAA senior manager for regional forums and static displays Joe Hart. “Aircraft manufacturers have reserved these chalets to provide hospitality to their prospective customers, in close proximity to their aircraft on display.” All other exhibit space previously was sold out, both on the show floor and in an added exhibitor pavilion that is adjacent to the main hangar. Meanwhile, the final list of speakers at Abace has been confirmed–U.S. DOT deputy secretary John Porcari will be among the featured speakers at the opening session, and chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media Steve Forbes will serve as the keynote speaker for the gala dinner. Abace–which is being presented in partnership with the Shanghai Airport Authority and co-hosted by NBAA, the Asian Business Aviation Association and Shanghai Exhibition–will include more than 100 exhibits in the new Shanghai Hawker Pacific Business Aviation Service Centre. NBAA is reminding attendees that an immigration visa is required for entry into China. JetOptions is a member of the NBAA and will be in attendance at ABACE.
