Canada orders full review of airport security agency

Ottawa wants a full review of the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, the agency responsible for security at airports across the country. “We are seeking stakeholders’ input to determine whether changes are required to better serve Canadian industry and the traveling public,” says Minister of State for Transport Rob Merrifield. CATSA employs about 6,000 security screeners and handles about 48 million passengers annually. CBC.ca (Canada) (6/15)
